(A creative writing by Sugary Keko)

Another initiate was brought in last night. It’s been the first time in closer to a century. They just don’t make Makers like they used to I supposed. Small thing she was. Not as meek as Julia back in the 80s. To be fair, she was married for at least two years with no children by that point.
I do think we can…modernize these proceedings though. I understand the want to hold onto somethings from back in your youth. Time will march on even if we stand outside of it and it’s nice to recgonize recognize (wow I all these centuries and I still can’t spell half a damn) a feather or two on the procession. Still…did they have to the whole dance and chant thing? What happened to simply and quick blood rituals? It’s not like we can spread illness. We aren’t even properly humans anymore.
Still, it was nice to see a few of the girls. It gets lonely thier being so much to do and so few of us to do it. Hopefully it won’t be two centuries until the next recruit.
Signed-
Keara
P.S Reminder to go to that museum as they like to call it to get back one of my old diaries. They can keep the dress, I can’t fit it anymore, but I’m getting tired of those people going into my old homes and taking my things
P.P.S I love that I can print pictures so easily now.
